MNT Seed Testing Laboratory was established in 1996, a sister concern of Lal Teer Seed Limited is the first research-based and the largest seed company in the private sector of Bangladesh since l995. MNT Seed Testing Laboratory is the first ISTA (International Seed Testing Association) Accredited Seed Testing Laboratory in Bangladesh to achieve accreditation in 2023 as well as Accredited by the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) in 2022 on the standard of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017. Lal Teer Seed Limited also the first ISO 9001: 2015 certified Seed Company in the country Test Facilities In conjunction with the seed lab facilities and trained seed analysts, the team carries out a range of seed tests to ensure the supply of quality seeds. MNT Seed Testing Laboratory is a well-equipped seed testing lab performing the following test and analysis

AIM

• To provide information on seed quality by conducting

seed test & analysis according to the National & International rules & standards.

• To identify seed quality problems and their probable cause.

• To determine the need for drying and processing and specific procedures to be used.

• To determine, if seed meets established quality standards or labeling specifications.

• To ensure that the best quality seeds are produced and sold to farmers.

POLICY

Company management is fully committed to with the standard continual improvement of the Quality management systems and setting a benchmark in terms of assure to supply the quality seeds to the customer/farmers with comply National & International standard test methods as well as follow ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 (E) QMS and rules & regulation of BAB (Bangladesh Accreditation Board) & in accordance with ISTA rules. Human resource is our big asset to comply the test and analysis and continual improvements through training (Internal & External) and motivated activities with the related fields. An experienced and educated team has been working in the laboratory to confirm the quality test with provided/collected sample as requirement of sample procedure and all personnel are familiar with the quality documentation & procedure with their work.

OBJECTIVES

• Provide Certificate with Specified the seed quality by followed of ISTA Rules & methods for Seed testing and sampling.

• The customer satisfaction index will be minimum 4.5 out of 5 points within the year 2031 in respect of quality test & analysis by competent and qualified personnel.

• Reduce 40% of complaints by delivering quality seeds with proper test and analyses through implementing the policies and procedures.
