-Made clear and actionable recommendations for introducing suitable new varieties and technologies for onion cultivation, postharvest handling, and storage.

-Demonstrated the impact of improved onion varieties (Dutch and local) on yields and shelf life.

-Identified the best onion varieties suitable for Bangladeshi climatic conditions.

• Farmer Training:

-Trained farmers on improved onion farming practices with new varieties.

-Initiated the commercial distribution of suitable Dutch onion varieties.

-Postharvest and Storage Technology:

-Demonstrated the effectiveness of Dutch postharvest and storage technologies for shelf life improvement, waste reduction, and onion quality enhancement.
